My name is Sharyn Bovat and I got into politics because of my "pedigree" this blog is dedicated to my mom Carolyn Bovat. She spent most of her life fighting for causes, democracies & fairness. Today she's suffering from Alzheimers.  On the phone the other day and she ask me how my job was a NISSAN....   I cried for a bit then realized "maybe it's best" that she can't remember what's happened to me the last 2 years.    My only wish is that someday she knows that I finally took the torch in fighting for human rights.... Mom I love you and "this" fight for fairness is part of you.

Evidently a former Cold War era "friendly fixture" who traveled all over the world and later in life whistle blew about discrimination, corruption and wasteful spending of taxpayer money being done in Tennessee by a Good Ole Boy network whose members were aligned with people that she researched in the 80's and those people jailed me 3 times by "trumping up" charges is something that interest people. Especially when the CEO of NISSAN is seen socailly with Middle Eastern Arms dealers....people connected to countries that are ALSO responsible for the Pan Am Lockerbie bombing....YES!!! "cover ups" happened ..... it was just "Geo Political manuevering."

Sharyn Bovat has been "silent" on issues for over 17 years it was ONLY after her Freedom was taken away in Tennessee and unethical people tampered with Constitutional Rights did she speak. Just a few days ago it was reported that an order that might have been frozen "after" I exposed the issues of French arms dealings that could lead to American deaths.  (the anti-tank missiles proposed to be sold to Lebanon most likely will be "re labeled" and sold to Iranian sympathizers & could be sent to Afghanistan to kill American soldiers) ....

My name is Sharyn Bovat and I was considered the top relocation consultant in Middle Tennessee.

When NISSAN board member Carlos Tavares moved to Nashville in 2009 I was asked to manage his transfer.  He was the highest level person EVER to move to the USA.

While I was working with Mr. Tavares many longtime employees told me of problems in relation to a "Good Ole Boy" network.   I was also told of discrimination.   Because my work involved using taxpayer money to assist in the relocations of high level executives I actually helped executives
recklessly spend. I always asked questions when something did not make sense and HR would come back with an OK.   When asked to find a spa for oxygen facials for a French VP that was the "straw that broke this camels back" as a taxpayer that got me mad and I started documenting abuses.

At NISSAN I learned that the Electric Car was designed to "fail". A viewer of this blog (that started in June 2009) told me that NISSAN was using outdated technology. A "ponzi" scheme was set up so that The Good Ole Boys and their buddies could profit from a DOE loan of OVE 1 Billion dollars.  Knowing so much and having the "ear" of Carlos Tavares I became a whistleblower.

May 2009 I emailed Greg Kelly and I told him NISSAN needed to STOP wasting American taxdollars since they were taking FEDERAL funds.

That decision has changed my life. Since spring of 2009 I've been bullied and harassed.   I even sent the President of NISSAN Americas a message about death threats that I received.   This story gets worse:

A Year Ago Today I was arrested by a warrant that was "sworn out" by a man that had documented bullying me for over a year.   There was no court order to have me hauled off in hand cuffs.  since then I've been jailed 3 times.   People not from Tennessee can't understand how "this" could happen in America.

I'm a mom who spoke out against bad spending of taxpayer money was jailed 3 times and has endured countless court appearances just because people connected former Democratic Governor Bredesen did some deals with NISSAN and the DOE under President Obama's watch that were not good for America. Thormann told Congress it would get 100 miles per charge and WORSE it gets LESS on the highway going 70mph & if the A/C is on it gets about 30-35 miles per charge before "turtle mode".

"The taxpayers are funding a project that is "not ready for production" and NISSAN built capacity for 3,000,000 cars using taxpayer money from 5 different countries promising jobs in each country and Carlos Ghosn told NISSAN shareholders they expect to sell 1.5 million. Thus leaving 1/2 of the capacity to sit idle.....As an American I hate seeing my tax dollars creating "idle" projects. I'm a moderate/centrist and I voted for President Obama and today I regret it. The Volt gets 40 mpc and has a back up gas engine. The VOLT won't leave people stranded or waiting 20 minutes for a "fast charge" that will give them an 80% charge. Nissan battery degradation update... UPDATE

The outdated battery technology nissan is using is "un predictable" with real

range for the first year. It needs a minimum if 100 charges and discharges to

"stabalize" Thus the range reader will go from 95 miles to 75 miles in a

matter of minutes... Creating unpredictable expectations.

Then after the first year it degragates to about 85% then in year 4 it's about

60% so by 2015 those driving with NO ac or heat driving and driving at the

"preferred" style & speed will ONLY get 60 miles per charge... In the real

world most drivers will get only 45 miles per charge in 2015.

What nissan needs to do is to have a heating and cooling system to protect the

battery from degradation. Get this!!! They're planning on blaming degradation

on the "quick chargers"

OK.... I'm sure Mr. Tavares is fixing the problem.

Congress still has 3 Billion dollars on the table for the EV. I want that money spent wisely. Limited "test markets" including the bay area..... R & D and no more money for public "fast" chargers UNTIL we have 1 plug in standard.

The Renault Three have been deemed innocent and have been vindicated in large 
part due to the actions of the French media, this week It became  obvious the

Soon Congress will try to pass a budget that "ups the ante" and in my  
mind that puts too much American taxpayer money on the table.  The   
funds for subsidies need to go to "cars that people will want to buy"  
The Leaf battery was created in the 90's.  It's already proven in "real world" 
driving that it did not meet the 100 miles per charge expectations.  Also ghosn 
says he'd have to sell a million of them before the Leaf will become 
"profitable".  That's Not going to happen with that design and the inconsistant 
range.

Current Concern:

if they really sell 50k of these this year like they promised that's a BIG drain with the

Long term liability due to the factnthe batteries on each car will have to be replaced .

Of the 50k global sales That number allows for 20k sales in the USA The reality

is Nissan stopped taking reservations AFTER the $99 fully refundable deposits reservations

hit the 20,000 mark.

Get this I was told that some reservations were made with the intention of not following

thru on purchase

Thus 20k cars will not be on American roads.

??? How many will really be on the road in 2011 ... My guess 3-4k

???? Why do we need so many chargers that primarily only work with the leaf

when it was "built to fail".

NISSAN Whistleblower tired of being "lied to" by Gannett..... Fears the media in Tennessee is ignoring human rights and promoting fraud.

Yesterday I got a call from the ben Bradlee winner/Pulitzer prize nominee Mark Silverman telling me the Tennessean wanted to do some "serious" reporting on the EV. He admitted that for 4 months (really MORE) the ball was "dropped" on EV fraud and he wants me to talk to his business editor and they're going to do a story one that will bring what happened to me as a whistleblower into.

Then the next day the Tennessean ran a "puff piece" on the Leaf.

Mark Silverman told me on June 12th that Rahm Emanuael was the "godfather" and ultimately responsible for the "cover up" in reference to the media's non existent coverage of Obama's "failed" pet project.

The shovel ready jobs Obama promised did NOT happen. ??? Guess what was being shoveled.

I'm angry because I learned the Obama administration is responsible for coverage of me (a whistleblower) being squashed. On July 7th I will have gone a whole year of court dates after being jailed 3 times on charges "trumped up" to discredit me as a whislteblower.

Mark Silverman knows I'm innocent and have been bullied and harassed, his paper says NOTHING!!!

The taxpayers are funding a project that is "not ready for production" and NISSAN built capacity for 3,000,000 cars using taxpayer money from 5 different countries promising jobs in each country and Carlos Ghosn told NISSAN shareholders they expect to sell 1.5 million. Thus leaving

1/2 of the capacity to sit idle.

As an American I hate seeing my tax dollars creating "idle" projects. I'm a moderate/centrist and I voted for President Obama and today I regret it.

Note to President Obama: I Sharyn Bovat will be a voice in the "charge" to get YOU out of the White House in 2012.

In America respect needs to happen for the taxpayer and I've told the truth about wasteful spending of taxpayer money and discrimination and people connected to President Obama have created "a wall". A wall that reminds me of the communist era. Luckily I have experience in getting "messages to the other side".

Change of Topic: The Gannett Award Winning Editor Mark Silverman called me and told me that the Tennessean will NOT be simply running "puff pieces" and that they will look at the "real" data.  They will no longer just "run" the press releases that NISSAN sends them.   He wants me to talk to Randy his business editor.

I told Mark that do to a "timing" issue with the courts I must talk to Randy by Friday. The fact is in America there are rules to follow for filing a lawsuit. Once I do I can't talk to reporters.

For the record my GOAL was to NOT do this. I'm NOT a litigious person and have NEVER filed a lawsuit. Truly I want to work and enjoy my life.   The fact is my American Rights have been violated and I have faced years of retaliation for "telling the truth" about a Good Ole Boy network that dominates NISSAN North America.  The stress of being a whistleblower in Middle Tennessee is HORRIBLE & I need to "end this" battle of human decency because I have a child who is suffering.

When NISSAN Titan Trucks were following me "too closely" while my child was in the car just to "scare me" into not whistleblowing that was MORALLY WRONG . When Nissan's circled her home to scare me silent that was wrong too.   The bullying needs to end!!!

    My child has NOT been included in playdates because people "fear" her mommy. This needs to end!!!!

Also, Tenessee is the MOST corrupt state in America and this is NOT the place I want her raised.    She deserves to live in a society that has RESPECT FOR ALL PEOPLE.   She was born in China and I promised those that gave her to me she would have a good life. It's time "that" happened. Seeing her mom unfailry prosected has been difficult for her.

My goal was to end discrimination at NISSAN North America and to ensure that "this" logic of saying that #'s of women in management declining from 20.9% to 10% to 13% is NOT Mission Accomplished and NISSAN should NOT show ACHIEVED on the CSR report.

Obviously the "bad" people are still in charge. For by accepting discrimination Mediocrity is still accepted at NISSAN.

Women and Gays have told me that NISSAN Discriminated against them and they want me to be a VOICE for them.

Thanks for asking about me and my friend. This was his 55th birthday and it will be his last. Lung cancer. He was a heavy smoker. He's pretty much at peace with things, as is his family. It was obviously very sad, but it was also touching, kind and sweet in many ways. It's tough, though.
