As Part of Nissan Jordan Solidarity and commitment to the local community Bustami and Saheb Trading Co. (BSTC), organized a day out at the movies with SOS children, on Wednesday January 27th , to share with them a good time and to maintain trustworthy relationship to help boost their morale.
BSTC’s initiative reflects its humanistic concern towards children issues, and, at the same time, promotes its constructive role in the community service domain. The program took the children from the SOS village to watch the movie “planet 51” at Zara Center, and show them a good time.
SOS is a local, private, non-political, non-governmental, and an independent social development organization, established in 1984.
BSTC is an advocate of Corporate Social Responsibility and has always supported Jordan’s national social initiatives; commenting on this activity, Marketing and Communication Manager at BSTC, Zaid Hamed, said, “Nissan’s positive involvement in CSR aims at encouraging greater levels of year–round humane activities, and social development has always been part of our strategies. Taking SOS children to the movies is one of our future plans for them, and we are looking forward to Initiating more activities and projects which are bound to strengthen healthy interaction among all community categories”.
The day out was a very entertaining and funny experience for the children who loved and appreciated it, and upon finishing the journey, they expressed their happiness and gratitude, and commended BSTC for sharing with them those moments of joy. All the participating children of the village spent a great time, enjoyed the movie, and forged new friendships with BSTC team.
